KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 26 (Bernama) — WCE Holdings Bhd, the concessionaire of the West Coast Expressway (WCE) project, logged a wider net loss of RM88.56 million for its third quarter (3Q) ended Dec 31, 2024, amid interest costs incurred for completed sections, which amounted to RM55.4 million in the quarter.

KUALA LUMPUR: WCE Holdings Bhd (WCEHB) menerusi anak syarikat dengan pegangan 80 peratus, West Coast Expressway Sdn Bhd mencatatkan pertumbuhan ketara hasil kutipan tol sebanyak RM32.6 juta bagi tempoh suku ketiga yang berakhir pada 31 Disember 2024, melonjak 144 peratus berbanding RM13.4 juta pada suku sama tahun kewangan sebelumnya.

Menurut WCE, peningkatan tersebut didorong oleh kenaikan purata trak harian sebanyak 115% berikutan pembukaan Seksyen 6 (Bandar Bukit Raja Utara-Assam Jawa) dan Seksyen 11 (Beruas – Taiping Selatan) pada FY2024.
